By joining our volunteer team, you'll be at the center of the action. Whether you're assisting at events, supporting trail operations, helping with education programs, promoting responsible recreation, or contributing your unique skills behind the scenes, you'll become part of a community dedicated to growing and strengthening off-road recreation.

As an Off-Road America volunteer, you'll also gain access to exclusive opportunities. Depending on your volunteer role, you may qualify for complimentary training through Off-Road U, where you'll develop valuable driving, safety, recovery, and trail leadership skills. Select your Leadership comfort level

Level 4 – Moderate | Comfortable on moderate trails with steeper climbs, uneven terrain, loose surfaces, and occasional obstacles requiring careful tire placement.

Level 5 – Intermediate | Comfortable navigating larger rocks, ledges, off-camber sections, and technical obstacles that may require spotting and vehicle modifications.

Level 6 – Difficult | Experienced with technical rock crawling, significant ledges, narrow passages, and obstacles where vehicle damage becomes a realistic possibility.

Level 7 – Advanced | Confident on highly technical trails featuring large obstacles, difficult lines, steep climbs, and frequent use of lockers, spotting, and advanced driving techniques.

Level 8 – Expert | Comfortable leading or assisting on extreme trails with major obstacles, significant consequences for mistakes, and conditions requiring highly modified vehicles and experienced drivers.

Level 9 – Extreme | Experienced on some of the most difficult recreational trails, including major rock crawling obstacles, challenging recoveries, and situations where rollovers or vehicle damage are common risks.

Level 10 – Elite | Capable of operating on the most difficult trails and obstacles, including routes typically reserved for highly modified vehicles, competition-level drivers, and expert recovery teams.
